Charlottetown, PE (June 18, 2012) – Golf PEI is pleased to announce another exciting year of the International Couples Golf Festival at Prince Edward Island, Canada. The 4th annual festival will take place July 15-19, 2012, with an even more exceptional itinerary than previous years. Guests will have the opportunity to enjoy Canada’s #1 golf destination with deluxe accommodations, outstanding golf courses, top-notch dining and complimentary transportation. This world-class event will include five days, four nights and three outstanding rounds of golf.
The International Couples Golf Festival is dedicated to fun-filled rounds of golf where couples can truly put their skills to the test. After each day’s round, visitors will be treated to PEI’s wonderful hospitality featuring delicious seafood and refreshments, Island cuisine and fun surprises.
The festival will feature golf at some of PEI’s top courses, including The Links at Crowbush Cove, Dundarave Golf Course and Green Gables Golf Club. Guests can enjoy undulating fairways, water holes with a wisp of wind, pot bunkers and challenging greens. For fun off-the-greens, visitors can enjoy a tour of the historical Gahan House and dinner at New Glasgow’s Lobster Suppers restaurant for a 1 pound lobster feast.

July 15th
• Arrive at Prince Edward Island
• Transportation provided from the airport
• 4:00pm: Check-into Hotel on Pownal
• 5:00pm – 6:00pm: Reception with drinks and light hors d’oeurves. Guests receive welcome package
July 16th
• 7:00am – 9:00am: Deluxe continental breakfast
• 9:30am: Shuttle to The Links at Crowbush Cove
• 11:00am: Shotgun at The Links at Crowbush Cove followed by 19th hole reception
• 4:00pm: Transfer back to Hotel on Pownal
• 7:30pm: Dinner at The Gahan House Pub and Brewery
July 17th
• 7:00am – 9:00am: Deluxe continental breakfast provided
• 9:30am: Shuttle to Dundrave Golf Course
• 11:00am: Shotgun at Dundarave Golf Course followed by 19th hole reception
• 4:00pm: Transfer back to Hotel on Pownal. Evening on own
July 18th
• 7:00am – 9:00am: Deluxe continental breakfast provided
• 12:30pm: Shuttle to Green Gables Golf Club
• 2:00pm: Shotgun at Green Gables Golf Club
• 6:30pm: Transfer to the New Glasgow Lobster Dinner for a 1lb Lobster feast and closing ceremony
• 8:30pm: Transfer back to Hotel on Pownal
July 19th
• 7:00am – 9:00am: Deluxe continental breakfast provided
• Transfer back to airport at designated time
The festival is $995 per person or $599 per person with the Family & Friends package – for guests that don’t need accommodations; both prices exclude tax. Extended stays are available and several pre- and post- festival packages are offered as well.
