SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – Premier high school and college golfers from the region will compete and showcase their skills at the seventh annual Sanford Golf Futures Tour presented by Sanford Sports Academy.
This invitation-only event will take place August 5-6 at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa and be separated into four divisions: high school boys, high school girls, college men, and college women. Both high school divisions, along with college women, will participate in a two-day, 36 hole competition, while college men will participate in a two-day, 54 hole showdown.
The 130 total competitors consist of multiple state champions as well as golfers from eight states and 20 colleges, including NCAA Division I and II schools.
“The Futures Tour has grown tremendously over the past couple of years,” said Sam Volser, manager of Sanford Sports Academy Golf. “We’ve been able to attract some of the best young golfers not only in the Midwest, but around the entire country to this tournament. I’m excited to see how these athletes stack up against a talented field at one of our region’s most pristine golf courses in Grand Falls.”
Results of the tournament will be posted online at sanfordfuturestour.com
