The top five boys and top five girls will receive a College Level Scholarship that will support their journey to collegiate golf.

The standings are determined primarily by tournament scoring average on a rolling 52-week cycle, with certain minimum standards necessary to be qualified to receive scholarships. To be eligible for the Hub Cup Standings golfers must, be members of the Junior Golf Hub, be between the ages of 14-18, and compete in a minimum of five verified 18-hole rounds, among other criteria.
“The Hub Cup acts as a conduit to our ultimate goal of providing more opportunities to more people who have the goal of playing college golf,” says Junior Golf Hub Founder, Roger Knick. “These scholarships will help break down any barriers standing in the way.”
Through relationships with over 25 PGA Section Junior Tours as well as other junior tours such as AJGA, HJGT, Peggy Kirk Bell, Notah Begay III, and state and regional golf associations around the country where scores are automatically verified within a few days after the tournament.
Prizes comply with the rules of maintaining Amateur Status and all monies received will be paid directly to the educational institution of the winner’s choice.
Junior Golf Hub starts with a LinkedIn-style profile for both athletes and college programs. Golfers can tailor their searchable profiles to include athletic measurables such as verified tournament scores, swing speed, tournament schedules and academic information such as GPA, test scores and academic honors.
For those still seeking their perfect fit, Junior Golf Hub has a “Find a College” function with filters that narrow down results based on the program’s scoring average, acceptable test scores, tuition, majors offered, size of enrollment and more. College golf hopefuls will receive push notifications when a collegiate program starts following them on the app.
