Up to Par Management appoints Miles Loughlin general manager and director of golf at The Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe Mountain Resort
Snowshoe, W. Va. – In October 2015, Up to Par Management appointed Miles Loughlin general manager and director of golf at The Raven Golf Club at Snowshoe Mountain Resort. Loughlin, who was most recently the assistant golf professional at The Water’s Edge Country Club in Smith Mountain Lake, Va., will begin his duties on November 16. In addition to his work at The Raven Golf Club, during the winter season Miles will also be the hotel manager responsible for all hotel operations for Snowshoe Mountain Resort’s Silver Creek Lodge.
With more than 10 years experience, Loughlin, brings a wealth of knowledge specific to retail, event and golf course management. He also qualified for the Virginia State Open in 2011, 2012, 2013 and 2015, and won the inaugural Cy Bahakel Pro-Am.

Loughlin, who was elected to PGA membership in 2008, has excelled as a golf professional at clubs in Virginia such as Ole Monterey Golf Club in Roanoke, Hidden Valley Country Club in Salem and Shenandoah Valley Golf Club in Front Royal. Additionally, he was a head golf professional at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Harrisonburg and a retail sales manager at Golf Mart, Inc. in Roanoke.
Among his accomplishments, Loughlin increased rounds and revenue at Ole Monterey by 71% over the course of four years, coordinated and executed more than 120 events at Shenandoah Valley and taught more than 100 private lessons in five months at Hidden Valley.
