HENDERSON, Nev. – Reflection Bay Golf Club, the first Jack Nicklaus-designed course in Nevada, has announced its lineup of collegiate tournaments for 2023. The award-winning golf course is scheduled to host three collegiate tournaments: the Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate Invitational, the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate at Lake Las Vegas and the Frontier Conference Championship.
“Reflection Bay has become one of the top courses in Southern Nevada for college-athletes. We have created an environment where collegiate golfers can get great experience on a top-rated course in one of the most beautiful areas in the state,” said Jon Openshaw, General Manager of Reflection Bay. “It is always an honor to host collegiate teams here and offer them a unique setting to showcase their skills.”
Reflection Bay has hosted hundreds of tournaments over the past two decades, including junior-level, college-level, professional and charitable tournaments. In recent years, the club has been the location for as many as four major collegiate tournaments in a single year.
The first tournament of the 2023 collegiate season will be the second annual Lake Las Vegas Intercollegiate Invitational Feb. 28 to Friday, March 3, with student-athletes from many D1 universities across the country, including:

Next will be the Rocky Mountain Intercollegiate at Lake Las Vegas, the third year in a row that Reflection Bay has hosted the tournament. Athletes are scheduled to compete on the course beginning Monday, March 6 through Wednesday, March 8. The tournament will host many of the top 20 men’s and women’s NAIA Division Schools including the following:
Rocky Mountain College Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University Lewis-Clark State College The University of British Columbia The University of British Columbia – Okanagan University of Victoria Bellevue University (men) Wayland Baptist University (women) The Master’s University University of Fraser Valley
The final collegiate tournament of the year is the Frontier Conference Championship, featuring the top selected teams in the Frontier Conference. Golfers will compete from Sunday, April 16 through Wednesday, April 19, with teams announced in March.
