Dragonfly Golf Introduces New ‘Club Package’, Enabling Golf Professionals to Provide Mobile 3D Digital Coaching to Help Golfers Train Smarter Not Harder
ORLANDO, FL – May 12, 2021– Dragonfly Golf, the next generation of high-performance sports technology, announces the launch of its mobile 3D motion capture system ‘Club Package’ for golf coaches and teachers. The new ‘Club Package’ provides golf clubs, golf academies and head pros with the tools they need to offer cutting-edge 3D digitized lessons to multiple golfers.
The Dragonfly Golf system is the next generation of high-performance sports technology that delivers a mobile 3D motion capture system, in-depth performance analysis and real-time digital feedback. This system enables the coach to pinpoint the specific needs of their student, map out their digital pathway to success, and accelerate the results of the golfer, allowing them to train smarter, not harder. It translates a host of previously invisible data into practical yet powerful insights via hundreds of performance metrics, 360-degree visibility and instant feedback via a smartphone.
“With this system, golfers no longer need to be in a studio connected to a computer in order for their coach to review, analyze and monitor their performance,” said David Stephens, CEO of Guided Knowledge. “They can be in real outdoor scenarios on the course so their coach can find out what really happens when they are out playing. This provides a great opportunity for coaches to offer a valuable new service to their students while also adding a new revenue stream to their coaching business.”
According to Steve Hamer, PGA Professional and owner of New Generation Golf, “Since having invested in the Dragonfly Golf Club Package, my teaching revenues have increased as well as elevating my reputation of being a creative, imaginative golf coach, I have players coming from other clubs to see the Dragonfly Golf system in operation and booking with me……its great!”
The Dragonfly Golf system allows remote coaching from anywhere in the world through player and coach apps which are enabled by a comfortable 18-sensor base layer smart suit that makes the motion capture experience easy, repeatable, accurate and reliable. The suit allows golfers to have the freedom to play golf and practice while capturing the entire human form in 3D, not just the upper body or limb segments.
With the easy-to-use Dragonfly Golf coach app, coaches can review, analyze and monitor their player’s performance in real time via a customized 360° view avatar. A unique, customizable dashboard holds a database of swings for each golfer. The coach can evaluate swing mechanics and assign training tasks using a variety of techniques within the application. A toolbox of data visualization techniques is easily accessed by the coach to help their players understand their movement patterns and how they differ.
The coach also has the ability to compare different shots within or between sessions. Side-by-side shots, avatar overlays and good vs. bad comparisons allow players to view differences in body positions and show them exactly what they did differently.
The basic “Club Package” includes four smart suits in different sizes, a pod with a backup pod, wash bags, back up sensors and access to players and coaches apps. In addition to the “Club Package”, Dragonfly Golf currently offers a “Player Package” for the player who wants their own system to improve their game, while working with their own coach. Dragonfly Golf is currently offering a 30% discount off of both packages for a limited time.
