Northern Michigan golf destination earns multiple honors from Golf Digest editors
Petoskey, MI – BOYNE Golf announces that it has two award winners among the annual Golf Digest Editor’s Choice Awards for 2021. The Inn at Bay Harbor in Bay Harbor, Mich. earned the honors as one of the Best Resorts in the Americas, while BOYNE Golf Academy in Harbor Springs, Mich. graces the Best Golf Schools & Academies.
Within the awards announcement, Golf Digest describes the resort as “Built on the former home of a cement factory and quarry, Arthur Hills’ 27 holes at this Northern Michigan resort include the Quarry, Links and Preserve. Dramatic views along the bluffs of Lake Michigan make for scenic holes that play tough when the wind is up. The views are just as good from the Inn at Bay Harbor, which offers shuttle service from the resort to this quaint harbor town.” It’s no wonder that Golf Digest keeps coming back to honor the resort.
“It is very gratifying and humbling that the Inn at Bay Harbor has been recognized by Golf Digest each of the past four years with the Editor’s Choice Awards as a Best Golf Resort,” says Ken Griffin, Director of Golf Sales and Marketing for BOYNE Golf. “The resort and Bay Harbor Golf Club are the flagship of our 10 courses and three resorts in Michigan, and they represent the variety and quality of the golf experience across all of our properties.”
Meanwhile, BOYNE Golf Academy is honored to have now received the Editor’s Choice Award in both 2018 and 2021. The Academy has been one of the top golf schools in the country since 1986.
