Capital One’s The Match: Champions for Change will uniquely contribute toward and highlight diversity, equality and inclusion at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs). Through its association with the event, WarnerMedia will make donations to Morehouse College, Howard University, Alabama A&M, Hampton University and Winston-Salem State University, primarily helping to fund golf or sports journalism programs. Additionally, the four golfers have selected Jackson State (Mickelson), Tuskegee (Barkley) and Howard (Curry), along with Grambling State, Southern University at New Orleans and Lane College (Manning), to be the recipients of their donations.
WarnerMedia, in coordination with Wheels Up, will also be contributing one million meals through Feeding America this holiday season, while using the platform of the event to help raise additional awareness and funding for hunger relief efforts.
TNT’s live coverage of Capital One’s The Match will be hosted by Brian Anderson, who will provide play-by-play alongside Trevor Immelman and Andre Iguodala, with on-course reporters Cheyenne Woods and Gary McCord. Special guests will also make appearances, joining the telecast via Cisco Webex.
Capital One’s The Match will once again feature a series of on-course challenges, aimed at driving additional funding for HBCUs. For each of those holes, there will be a minimum of $100,000 and up to $2,500,000 (on select holes) donated if a golfer is able to sink a hole-in-one. Additional information on these challenges will be shared leading up to the event.
Live event coverage airing on TNT will once again feature unprecedented access with all players having open mics throughout the competition including the capability to communicate directly with other golfers and the broadcast commentators. Production highlights will include state-of-the-art live drone coverage and Toptracer shot tracking technology.
Additional highlights include:
“Cart Cam presented by Capital One” Exclusively in B/R App
In addition to TNT’s presentation, Bleacher Report will exclusively offer live “Cart Cam” coverage – beginning at 3 p.m.– providing viewers a companion experience in the B/R app. Hosted by Taylor Rooks with Eli Manning as the on-course, in-cart correspondent, B/R’s “Cart Cam” stream will follow Mickelson, Barkley, Curry and Manning throughout all 18 holes, capturing candid moments and providing opportunities throughout the competition for Rooks and Eli to engage with the golfers in between holes. The B/R app will also offer direct access to TNT’s coverage of Capital One’s The Match: Champions for Change, which fans will be able to watch by logging in with their TV Everywhere credentials.
The Pre-Match Show Presented by Autotrader

House of Highlights Showdown
B/R will tee off the day’s coverage at 1 p.m., with the House of Highlights Showdown from Stone Canyon Golf Club’s popular 19th hole. The pre-event competition, streamed live exclusively on the B/R app and hosted by Marcelas Howard, will feature social media influencers Jesser, Kristopher London, Tristan Jass and MMG in a closest-to-the-pin contest with the winner walking away with a $100,000 prize.
