CAMARILLO, CA, January 10, 2020 – Sacks Parente Golf Company, builders of exceptional putting instruments that defy convention, announced today it will exhibit at the 2020 PGA Merchandise Show in booth #1409 January 22 through January 24 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The company will also participate in the PGA Show Demo Day at Orange County National Golf Center in Winter Garden, Florida on Tuesday, January 21.
Sacks Parente Golf Company was founded by Steve Sacks and Richard Parente, a legendary duo of golf professionals, who as entrepreneurs have founded, built and grown some of the best names in golf for more than a combined 100 years. The company is introducing two new putting instruments at the PGA Show including the Series 18 Cavity Back Flange Blade and the Series 66 Cavity Back Blade. In addition to the two new designs, Sacks Parente will showcase the Series 39 blade and Series 54 mallet putters, which were introduced at the 2019 PGA Merchandise Show and have been put in play by professionals on multiple tours.
“Our technology is a game changer,” said Rich Parente. “All of the putting instruments we design are the most forgiving and accurate ever made.”
“We invite golf professionals, buyers, distributors and media to visit us during demo day and at our booth #1409 to view and experience our technology,” said Mike Ferris, Chief Strategy Officer of Sacks Parente Golf. “Rich and Steve will be on hand to demonstrate the technologies incorporated in all of our putters and answer questions. PGA Professional, Ken Duke will also be in our booth on Thursday, January 23rd from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00p.m. Since putting our prototype Series 66 putter in play in April of 2019, Ken has moved from 80th position in overall putting to 3rd in overall putting statistics.”
PGA Professionals who visit the Sacks Parente booth will also receive an aggressive Sacks Parente Golf PGA Show PUD to experience these innovative performance putting instruments for themselves.
All Sacks Parente designs feature the company’s patented Ultra-Low Balance Point (ULBP) technology, which is defined as a balance point 5” or less from the sole of the putter. This balance point creates a natural putter release, squaring the head at impact, even in high stress situations. In addition, all SPG putters maximize MOI by combining the use of ultra-light weight alloys and high-density tungsten, to significantly move more weight from the center of the putter to the heel and toe. In fact, every Sacks Parente putter head has a higher MOI than most putters available today.
The new Series 18 is 100% milled and made from 304 stainless steel, with a 60/61 aluminum face insert. To maximize the MOI, the Series 18 has high-density tungsten strategically located in the extreme heel and toe. Along with the tungsten weighting, this putter features a cavity sole that removes weight from the center and moves the center of gravity forward. These design features produce a forgiving MOI of 5083 that is similar to that of high MOI mallet putters.
The new Series 66 combines one of the most iconic putter shapes in golf with a unique 5-piece Al-Cu-W TRIMETAL design that achieves an incredibly high weight-forward MOI of 4753, where over 80% of the overall head weight is located in the heel and toe of the putter. No other putter has ever redistributed this much weight. This design puts the center of gravity in alignment with the hosel, making it immensely stabile and eliminating gear effect on off-center hits. This design and Al-Cu-W TRIMETAL technology has been tested and played on the Champions Tour for the past 8 months.
In order to accomplish its ULBP system, Sacks Parente created a combination of proprietary components, including featherweight grips, ultra-light shafts, and milled Tour-weight putter heads. With an average weight of less than 35 grams, Sacks Parente grips are less than half the weight of typical grips found in today’s market. In addition to the proprietary grips, Sacks Parente’s premium lightweight graphite and carbon fiber shafts weigh between 30-35 grams (about a gram an inch) yet also maintain stiff torque properties for both accuracy and feel. The company combines the shafts and grips with Tour proven head weights in the range of 350-365 grams to get the incredible feel and distance control that you can only experience with a Sacks Parente ULBP putting instrument.
