The Westin Mission Hills’ 5th Annual Desert Patriot Golf Tournament is November 9th, 2019
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA – September 17, 2019 – The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is excited to announce the 5th Annual Desert Patriot Golf Tournament on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Taking place during Veteran’s Day Weekend, this golf tournament will raise funds for Folds of Honor, a foundation that helps children and spouses of fallen and disabled service members.
Visitors and locals are encouraged to show their appreciation for first responders and military personnel by being a sponsor and supporting active-duty Military players, so they have no costs to participate in this event. The resort invites 30-40 marines to attend the tournament and with sponsorship help, the resort shows their appreciation for their service by making sure they have a great experience while on property. Sponsorships are tax-deductible.
Using a Drop Out Scramble format, each 4-player team will be paired with 1 active-duty military representative for this tournament. The shotgun start is at 11am. Before and after the event, there will be a silent auction, a Hole-in-One car give away opportunity, post-event lunch and awards. All players will receive participation gifts.
The Westin Mission Hills Golf Resort & Spa is home to two award winning golf courses. The Pete Dye Resort Course’s challenging yet forgiving design and the Gary Player Signature Course’s friendly layout each deliver the finest golf experience in the Greater Palm Springs area. This tournament will be held on the Gary Player Course. Registration fee is $175 per person.
