BALTIMORE, MD. – October 9, 2012 – STX Golf, world-renowned as an industry pioneer in putter innovation with its patented Soft Face Insert Technology, announced today that golf specialty retailer Golf Galaxy will carry STX Putters in several of their key stores as a part of a retail roll-out plan.
Golf Galaxy is a first-of-its-kind interactive golf store, combining great selection and pricing with pro shop service. Each store averages 15,000-square feet and boasts one of the most comprehensive collections of golf equipment, apparel, accessories and novelties ever assembled under one roof, as well as a host of interactive features. Golf Galaxy prides itself on its world-class selection of brand name golf equipment, golf apparel, golf accessories, and golf gifts for golfers of all ages and abilities.
A wide variety of STX Putters will be available in select stores. The companies are testing and researching sell-through models before expanding the distribution nationally. According to STX Director of Golf Steve Henneman, “We’re confident that this segmented introduction will ensure a successful product roll-out.”
Golf Galaxy will stock an assortment of STX Putters which will include the popular and affordable STX Sync Series and the recently introduced Xform Putter Series.
STX Sync Series putters have been used to win 12 PGA Tour events and dozens of Top-10 finishes. The Sync Series is equipped with “F.E.E.L”. Technology (Friction Enhancing Elastomer Layer) inserts. “The newly redeveloped Sync Series is a top seller around the nation and should prove to be a great addition to Golf Galaxy’s offering of putters,” added Henneman.
The Tour inspired Xform Series will also be available at Golf Galaxy. It is 100% machine milled from extremely soft 304 stainless steel and combines classic elements with a modern style.
