The 2012 Players Award is an annual equipment review that is conducted and directed by the Golfing Magazine’s editorial staff but all the testing is done by the magazine’s readers. A half offset flare neck positions the golfer’s hands slightly ahead at address. The specifications are similar to the Xform 1 Putter with a 3-degree loft, 71-degree lie and weighs 350 grams. The Xform 2 Putter is available with the newly engineered thermoset insert or the Deep Diamond milled stainless steel face.
Both Xform Putters included in the 2012 Players Award testing featured a 100% stainless steel face featuring a Deep Diamond mill pattern that increases friction while producing the soft feel desired by the best players in the game.
