(Londonderry, NH) – Danish brand ECCO – maker of the world’s most comfortable, technically-advanced footwear – has hired Brandon Hottman as Technical Field Representative overseeing the company’s innovative Comfort Tech Van, clinic and demo day programs.
In his new role, Hottman will drive nationwide awareness for features, advantages and benefits of ECCO golf shoes. This will include helping educate PGA Professionals, off-course retail staff and consumers about patented, game-enhancing ECCO technologies like Natural Motion and the Street hybrid outsole.
Prior to joining ECCO, Hottman held several positions at the renowned Haggin Oaks Golf Complex and served as an instructor for Total Golf Adventures in Roseville, CA.
“Brandon really grasps the importance of customer service, educational clinics and how to conduct successful Demo events,” says David Helter, Sales Director, Specialty, at ECCO USA. “This, coupled with his enthusiasm and experience at an industry-leading facility like Haggin Oaks, make him a perfect fit for the position.”
In the Comfort Tech Van, Hottman will immediately begin visiting ECCO accounts on the East Coast. He will travel to southern states beginning in Q4 2012 and head toward the West Coast in early 2013.
ECCO golf shoes are worn in competition by scores of international tour stars, including Fred Couples, Graeme McDowell, Thomas Bjorn, Bélen Mozo, Thorbjørn Olesen, Thongchai Jaidee, Stuart Appleby, Bradley Dredge, Andreas Hartø and many others. The company’s 2012 men’s golf collection is highlighted by BIOM Hybrid. Golf’s first performance hybrid model, it breaks new ground by combining Natural Motion technology with the award-winning Street outsole. This delivers tremendous comfort, traction and stability on or off the golf course.
