Lincolnshire Marriott Resort to Offer New Military Golf Program
In order to support the men and women dedicated to protecting America, Crane’s Landing Golf Course at the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort has introduced its new “Fairways-Fore-FREEdom” program. The program provides active, reserve, and retired military personnel with free and discounted golf at numerous Marriott Golf courses throughout the United States, including the acclaimed Crane’s Landing Course.
The “Fairways-Fore-FREEdom” program begins today, May 25th, in honor of Memorial Day weekend, and runs until Veteran’s Day on November 12, 2012. By presenting a valid military ID, individuals can gain access to discounted “twilight” green and cart fees, in addition to receiving a free replay certificate for another day (valid until December 31, 2012). Crane’s Landing Golf Club is an impeccable 18-hole course designed by golf legend George Fazio, located on the Lincolnshire Marriott Resort’s manicured North Shore grounds. The Audubon-certified course provides stunning views of the Des Plaines River along with 110 acres of preserved woodlands. Challenges on this par-70 course include scenic water at 14 holes as well as 29 sand bunkers.
Members of the armed forces that participate in “Fairways-Fore-FREEdom” can also take advantage of perks associated with the Marriott golfer loyalty program, Marriott Golf Links. The program allows participants to earn points for rounds of golf and golf merchandise purchased, and redeem those points for things like rounds of golf, golf instruction, hotel accommodations, and more.
